About Us: Sp.I.N.I. (Spinal Injury Northern Ireland) is a charity which specialises in “post hospitalisation” rehabilitation for all ages. Our aim is to provide individuals with support in social care and use of equipment for spinal injuries in their own area.

Spinal Injury Northern Ireland has continued to help those with spinal injuries, through provision and maintenance of specialised equipment for spinal injury rehabilitation and through the loaning out of equipment free of charge to those in need by reason of spinal injury. We continue to build upon our previous achievements and along with the help of our faithful fundraisers & donors, we had a total income this financial year of £ 3930 With £ 3366 Donations raised directly from Individuals, Organisations & Events. And £ 564 from Gift Aid and the Co-Op Community Fund This year £ 2820 was spent in total £ 309 was spent on new medical equipment (motomed etc) £ 1328 on much needed updated computer and office equipment & ink £ 100 on medical Equipment transport, (motomeds, hoists & ramps) £ 160 on advertising & charity subscriptions £ 319 on insurances fees £ 604 on event fees & general charity expenses Many thanks to all who contributed through out the year, and also to those who took part in the many events held; and to the organisations who generously contributed. A special thanks to those involved in the following – Glenarm Town & Country Christmas Fair 2017 Charity Collection St Patrick’s Academy Dungannon, Sixth Form Students & Staff Charity Event 2018 Nurses & Staff from the Royal Victoria Hospital Trauma Unit & Head Injury Unit who ran the Belfast Marathon 2018 The Trauma, Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation Casino Royale Charity Summer Ball (Medtronic) 2018 held at the Hilton Hotel All the customers at Co-Op, who selected Sp.I.N.I. for their Community Fund This year Motomeds were given out to four new clients to use at home all year. This brings the number of Motomeds currently being used to 18. Other clients received specialised equipment or therapy this year (including specialised shower chairs, ramps, Motomeds & hoists etc.) all provided by Sp.I.N.I. This equipment allows injured people and their families to benefit from equipment designed to meet their unique needs and maximise their quality of life.
